Please join our very own Louise Giordani for an afternoon of Back Bending Basics in a workshop Louise has put together exclusively for Bikram Yoga Chelmsford.
Learn how to relax and move with your spine in mind as you backward bend during this 90-minute workshop followed by a 90-minute Beginner’s Yoga Class.
Louise will help you breakdown and rebuild your backward bending postures through simple exercises to support and expand your physical knowledge. The workshop time will be used as a laboratory for experimentation without the time restrictions of the class structure.
Expect plenty of time to move around as you explore the mobility of your spine in yoga poses and other simple exercises. You will learn to recognize places of spinal mobility and restrictions, maximizing the range of motion in your total spine. Your questions are encouraged, so please be prepared for conversation as well as physical work.There is no better way to reinforce your knowledge than putting it to work immediately at the 4:30 pm class.
For the workshop time, please wear yoga clothes and bring your mat/towel, water. The room will be warm, but you might want to bring an extra layer so you don’t get cold.
Light refreshments will be served between the workshop and the 4:30 pm class.
